Mr. Willison,
My name is Steve, I direct people to your website all the time, and spoke to you way back about my nieces case with wedgewood apartments.
This time involves my son, his girlfriend whom is 9 months pregnant, and her 2 yr old.
Have you represented any tenants who resided in South Park apartments for lack of safety? They are section 8.
November 26th, 2008 at 7:50 amThey were home invaded, and held at gun point to steal his x-box.
On columbus police website, another 23 yr old white female was also burgalarized same time also.
I am like a paralegal, and you are my favorite on landlord tenant law.
The lease stipulates 24 hour survalence, but cameras are too fuzzy they said, like sorry about your luck. They stipulate 24 hour security, and told them it is columbus police.
Their place was also broken into again, while they stayed away. the 24 hr emergency took over 24 hours to fix the door. the 24 hour hotline is the main office number.
I hope you will be willing to look at this case and they might have recourse through a civil action.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this request.
Respectfully,
Steve Garrett
follow up, they caught one of the guys, he is facing up to 65 years, long history of violence.
went and took digital pictures of the place including their nice sharp colored cameras, plus all kinds of violations, called corporate in tennessee, spoke to president of company. Sent him the pictures for him to see, he was very sorry, and over ruled south park, allowing them to move into another place.
